What a Week So Far

Sorry have not posted much this week it has been kinda busy over here. I hate to say it but I have not been to the gym once this week I stepped back on the scale this morning and was not happy with myself. I need a good kick in the ass is what I need.

Work has been busy for me the last few days. Had to get things ready for a discovery walk through in Richmond on Wednesday. The walk through went really well and both my manager and I feel that the client we talked with is happier then before we did the walk through and got a better understanding of what they need/want. Also they did tell us that the 1 or 2 that we were actually sitting down talking they learned more in that time then the 15 years that one had been there and 1 year for the other one. So I guess we are doing our jobs right.

Once we were done there we stopped by Greentop Sporting Goods it seems that is a must stop when you head up that way. Well I was walking around and I finally bought my first Gun. It is a S&W M&P .40 cal. It is a nice gun cant wait to shoot it. I think I am going to make that my reward each weekend if I make it to the gym at least 3 maybe 4 days a week and do cardio each day. Then again I might just go to the range on Lunch who knows.

Thursday May 19th

Hope everyone had a good day. Mine was pretty good. Work was good and productive which is always a good thing and there were no fires to put out.

I did not hit the gym last night my shoulder was hurting way to bad to even think about doing anything let alone lift weights.

On the gaming side I have been slowly getting back into pc games. Not sure if I mention this before but I was playing Stardew Valley you can pick it up on Steam. I logged on the other day and saw a game I wanted to start playing. The name of it was Shadwen. So I pick that up. It is a pretty good game.

I was talking to a TheActualIsh who is a coworker and he mentioned Steam Link so I took a look at that and the inner geek in me came out again. Needless to say I stopped by GameStop on the way home and they had one in stock so I picked it up.

Once I got home it was up and running in under 5 mins and I was playing games on my TV instead of sitting at my computer desk. This actually help because I could nurse my shoulder with a heating pad and a tens device.

Monday May 16th

Monday was a hell of a day at work but we all pushed though and it ended pretty good. I went to the gym and I got a good surprise when I got there. My old trainer was there. Parker was there training so we ended up training together again just like old times It was good. If you want to check out his training programs I will put a link to his site at the end of the page.

I did not go real hard during the work out since my shoulder is still killing me so went real light and just focused on the movement. I was able to get the whole work out in but once we were done my shoulder was killing me. I still have been slacking on the cardio which I need to stop and get my ass in gear and start doing cardio again.

So that was my Monday how was yours.
